IAAO
SDAAO affiliates with the International Association of Assessing Officers (IAAO), a global organization serving the assessment profession. IAAO is the internationally recognized source for property appraisal, assessment administration and property tax policy. It is a non-profit educational and research association of individuals in the assessment and property valuation fields.

Membership is open to anyone and includes individuals working in government, private industry and academia, as well as members of the general public. IAAO provides much of the education received by SDAAO members as their courses are core requirements for CAA certification. IAAO also provides several professional designations to its members, as well as the opportunity to network world-wide.
